Alex has been involved with the creative and performing arts sector for over 45 years. In 2009, following a long and varied career which saw him performing all around the world, Alex added ‘Music Educator’ to his portfolio career. During this time, Alex taught and managed teams of teachers for a number of music and performing art schools and colleges in both music and vocational qualifications from Level 1 to Level 6.

Alex completed his Professional Certificate in Education (PCE) in 2015 through the University of Greenwich, receiving the Garnett Undergraduate Award for Outstanding Achievement.

Alex’s time now is divided between teaching, acting as a consultant for Music Education Providers providing CPD for future creative arts educators and as an External Moderator and Quality Assurer for RSL.
