You will be able to explore our campus, meet students and staff and also participate in workshops. You will also learn about our ambitious vision and the exciting training that is on offer.
As part of our application process, we audition/interview everyone who applies to Platinum Academy.

Our Open & Audition Days provide an introduction to Platinum Academy and our training offer, a tour of our facilities, participation of up to three workshops, a Q&A session and then finally ending the day with your individual audition slot at an allotted time.

As part of the audition process, you will participate in up to three workshops which provides you with an insight to our style of training.
You will then perform a piece of your choice to an audition panel at an allotted time (i.e. a 2-minute song or monologue or dance piece that you feel best shows off your skills - you need at least one of these but can choose all three if desired).

As you will participate in workshops on this day, please ensure you arrive dressed in practical clothing e.g. trainers, tracksuit bottoms, t-shirt.
If you have chosen a specific art form for your individual audition e.g. Ballet, then please bring your Ballet shoes with you.

We aim to communicate decisions within 14 days of your auditions. All decisions are communicated via email.

Second Year Acting Showcase 2024
Platinum Academy invites you to our Second Year Acting Showcase of 2024.
FIND A PARTNER! by Miriam Battye. Adaptaion by Billy Cullum.
It's described as 'Love Island' meets 'Black Mirror'. The premise of the piece is contestants on a reality show are in pursuit of love, however if they don't match up with anyone they are killed. The characters therefore are extremely desperate not to be voted off. There is an ITV type host and a few spectators that revel in the outcomes of the contestants' struggles (think 'The Hungergames'). They are locked in a circle which they cannot escape until a winning couple is found.
